Love - Justice - Memory
This anthology presents 24 poems in free verse. Taking their lead from different verbs, they explore fundamental themes of human existance: to love, grow up, grow old, die, travel etc. From the first page onwards, the texts are characterised by a restrained, reflective tone. The author often uses the pronoun "we" to suggest the universality of all human experiences; with the direct address ("you"), she seeks a dialogue and exchange with the reader. The book is an ode to life as well as a reflection of themes like sadness, injustice, or social responsibility. The accompanying illustrations resonate with the tender tone of the poems.
